Property Description
We have our new home based early 2015th The apartment is located on the ground floor and is accessed via a separate entrance door. It is modern equipped, for example with a heated floor, walk-in shower, electric shutters and high quality floor coverings.

The bedroom has a double bed (160cm wide). A travel cot we will gladly provide you free of charge.
An additional sleeping space offers the sleeper sofa in the living room.
We live in the same house; are quasi your neighbors. You have so that you do not usually run a side of the house for themselves over the path. If you have questions you may contact us at any time.
We have even lived until recently in Berlin-Mitte and give tips, hints and recommendations for your stay in Berlin, if you wish!
The house is located in the district of Tegel-Süd in Siedlung Waldidyll. This arose in the 1930s with the development of single-family homes and has rural character. The settlement is surrounded mostly by forest (Jungfernheide) and therefore is very quiet despite its central location. In case of unfavorable winds can hear the start of airplanes situated behind the forest airport. However, the settlement is not under the flight path.
The adjacent forest is ideal for walking, cycling or jogging. There is also the Airport Lake with several swimming holes which can be used free of charge and can be reached from the apartment in a few minutes. In midsummer, the lake is very visited on weekends or during the holidays; morning or outside the high season a secret.
In half an hour walk through the forest or after two stops on the subway you can reach the Greenwich Promenade at Lake Tegel in Alt-Tegel. From the local pier several steamers tours are offered; among other things, Havel / Spree to the government district.
A supermarket (Edeka Reichelt) with separate bakery, a pharmacy and a post office is located at 500 meters.
With public transport you quickly and easily to the city center:
Metro Station Holzhauser Str can be reached. 700 meters or 8 minutes walk. From there you can take the metro line 6 right across the whole city driving (Wedding, Berlin-Mitte, Kreuzberg). After only 20 minutes away by car you are at the Friedrichstr. (Center).
Immediately behind the metro station is also the driveway to the city highway.
