Beautiful green courtyard which invites you to linger in the summer. The area is loosened up by small parks and squares and many small shops and cafes make a pleasant mix. Only 3 minutes to the S-Bahn ring and only 3 minutes to the tram, which takes you to Alexanderplatz in 8 minutes. The beautiful pubs area of ??Helmholtzplatz and Kollwitzplatz are also just a 5-minute walk away. Nevertheless, located in a quiet side street. SLEEP
with a view of the sky in the cozy double bed (180x200cm). Fresh linen is provided free of charge. The bedroom can be darkened to about 90%. The bedroom has a second TV.
LIVING ROOM
In the living room you will find a comfortable sofa that can be converted into an extra bed with 140x200cm. In order to be able to demarcate the sleeping area in the living room, a thick curtain is present. The living room can be darkened to sleep by about 80%. The dining table can be extended from 4 to 8 seats. A large flat screen TV is freely movable in the apartment and allows a comfortable evening at the TV. Bed linen is provided free of charge.
KITCHEN
The kitchen has a kitchenette with automatic gas stove, fridge, small freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishes and pots. Many guests think the kitchen is very well equipped.
BATH
The modern bathroom has a rain shower and heated floor. Washer and dryer are ready. Fresh towels and hand soap are provided free of charge.
OTHERS
– Comforters: For a healthy and comfortable sleeping climate, the duvets and pillows are filled with down. In winter we have thick blankets, in summer thin. Two additional blankets are always in the closet in the hallway. If you want synthetic blankets, please let us know in advance, so that we can bring them out of the warehouse.
– A basic set of cleaning products, toilet paper, Zewa, detergents, garbage bags, dishwasher waste etc is available. For longer stays but certainly one or the other must be bought.
– Children: are very welcome. You come with a child under 3 years? If you still need a baby travel bed with extra bed (10 € once) or a toddler high chair (5 € once) or a baby high chair (5 € once), so please let us know.
CHECK IN
Check-in is possible from 14:00. There must be a surcharge of 15 € if you want to come later than 20 clock. Between 23:00 and 00:00 we have to charge 30 € extra. After 1 o’clock no arrival is possible.
CHECK OUT
Check out is before 11am and very easy. You pull the door closed without a key from the outside. The key hangs before you on the hook in the hallway. Should you want to leave the apartment later, please contact us in Berlin. If new guests do not come on the day of your departure, it’s usually not a problem.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
On foot you can reach the area around the Helmholtzplatz and Kollwitzplatz from the apartment. Also the park at the observatory. Not far away are trendy clubs and the event center Kulturbrauerei. Restaurants, boutiques and cafes are nearby, as well as shopping for daily needs. Within walking distance (500m) are children’s playgrounds, parks, bike rental, copy and internet shop, ATM, suburban train and tam station:
TRANSPORT
The apartment is located in the Helmholtz district, in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg.
Tram:
The tram M2 will take you to Alexanderplatz in 8 minutes, and a few minutes later to Hackescher Markt, where you can visit the Museumsinsel, the government district and the Oranienburger Straße entertainment district.
Train:
A 4-minute walk away is the S-Bahn station Prenzlauer Allee. This station is part of the S-Bahn Ring and from here you can reach all of Berlin quickly and comfortably.
Tegel TXL Airport: 13 km by public transport 40 min, zone AB
Taxi about 30 EUR in 30 minutes
Schönefeld Airport SXF: 25 km with public transport 50 min, zone ABC
Taxi about 50 EUR in 30 minutes
PARKING / ACCESS BY CAR
Paid parking in the neighborhood is available. Free public parking is possible from about 800m away. Also 800m away is a parking garage with currently 8 € / day. In addition, the green environmental badge is required for the downtown area.
