Nearby there is the stop-meter U-9, which leads to the zoo, the Tiergarten park and the famous Kurfürstendamm (or Kurfürstendamm) or more than 3 km of shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and the famous KaDeWe department store . The Free University of Berlin and the largest botanical garden in Europe can be reached with the S1 (only 2 stops), where you get Feuerbachstraße station just across the road, also leads the S1, in minutes and without the need to change to some of the main sights of Berlin: Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate, Bundestag, Topography of Terror – with the remains of the Berlin Wall – Checkpoint Charlie, the Friedrichstraße shopping street (leading to Unter den Linden, Gendarmenmarkt and galleries La Fayette); still Oranienburger Straße, Museum Island and Hackescher Jewish area
