The Vierseithof “Ederhof” lies in a romantic position on the Hauptmannsberg at the end of an idyllic valley. The seclusion of the hamlet of Hauptmannsberg and thus the relaxation effect is particularly worth mentioning. Depending on your preferences, however, there are enough activities and destinations to visit, all of which do not mean a trip to the world.
The cozy rooms are as original as possible and perfectly reflect the flair of the house.
The inner courtyard offers plenty of space for children to play, for relaxing or for cozy barbecue.
The accommodation is due to the ramp in the courtyard, rooms on the ground floor and walk-in shower also wheelchair suitable.
At the present time, only the dwelling house and the large inner courtyard can be used, since the adjoining farm buildings and the orchard need to be further refurbished. The courtyard will continue to be embellished and equipped with seats, children’s playgrounds and plants until the summer of 2016.
Behind the farm, the forest begins where nature lovers come to their own: mountain biking, mushroom-searching, fresh-air snapping 😉 What the heart desires!
The forest is crossed by the so-called Hochstrasse, which is not a road, but merely a forest path, which can be used to make spontaneous walks. Depending on endurance, the circular path can be shortened or lengthened.
Also within walking distance (about 20 minutes) is the Sonnenhof. A horse farm, where children can take riding trips at any time. The inn with swimming pool offers very good food, at reasonable prices in large portions! An absolute excursion tip!
The market Aidenbach with the next shopping possibility is 8 km away and purchases should be done by car.
In 2016, the Landesausstellung “Bier in Bayern” was located in the monastery town of Aldersbach, 10 km away. The theme of beer and baroque became the predominant theme of the region.

Bad Griesbach Bad Füssing Bad Birnbach is about 30 km away and offers wellness lovers relaxation as well as health-assisted people. There are also several first-class golf courses on which the Emperor Franz Beckenbauer is sometimes to be found.
