I offer you a private room this sweet old schooled apartment. The wooden floor, the wall paintings and the furniture tell a warm story of a time gone by.
This is not a glamorous place. Its alive. The wooden floor goes back some 100 years, in my room there is a fireplace instead of a heating system, old windows and doors. All this means a lot to me in terms of lifestyle, but might not be just right for everybody. There is a gas heating system keeping it cuddly in winter.
You have a bedroom for your own, the small bathroom and the next door kitchen is shared.
I also live in the apartment, between you and me are 2 doors. I am happy to provide informations how to get around.
There are a few things that might bother you during your stay.
1. The main door is old and freaky. you will have to insert the key till the mark on it to make it work, I ll be glad to show you.
2. Your room is next to the kitchen. I wont throw parties with more than ten people while you are trying to sleep – but it can be, that you hear me make coffee in the morning. The advantage of that: Free coffee if you get out of bed.The room is facing a moderat busy street, folks who prefer sleeping with the window open may have to deal with sound of humans or cars passing by. The place is located in the inner city.
3. Also I d like to add, that I clean the place upon your arrival as best as I can. Even though it can happen, that you ll find some dust somewhere – I cant offer the kind of perfection you may find in a hotel.
The neigborhood is somehow like my flat – old school. Not like most other parts of the city it does not try to be glamorous or rich.
The green line subway station “Canditplatz” is five minutes away, a bus stop to the “Marienplatz”, munches very center, is even closer. I takes about 10 minutes to travel there, or to get to the mail railway station. The airport is reached within 45 minutes.
