Welcome to the Endmoränenlandschaft Basthorst.
Our art pension Frahm was newly built and opened in early 2016. Sleep in up to 4 spacious double rooms with 35m2 – each is high quality, individually decorated and artistically designed.
Early birds are awakened by birdsong. And no matter how long you spend the morning in the box-spring beds – the view of the forest landscape with the old beeches is never forgotten. In the large common kitchen, even morning muffins like to wake up and even hobby cooks feel like home.
For a relaxing mid-day nap and sunbathing, comfortable loungers are waiting for you in the spacious garden. A beach day at the nearby Baltic Sea? Is always a good idea. Or rather bathing on the quiet Glambeck lake? Our secret tip for guests of the Kunstpension hides in the distance of the house.
Huge mammoth trees tower in the Mecklenburg sky. In addition, you can see how good it is like fish eels, kingfishers and Bieber here. And in the evening a barbecue! Gladly, we had already prepared something: 120 m2 large terrace with gas grill and additional fire place, including lounges for the sunset. Is that your taste?
We almost forgot – WinstonGolf was voted the best golf course in Germany in 2015. Why do we mention this? The squares start few tee-offs from us – in 5 minutes you are there.

Our creative activities and excursions into the original nature are highly regarded by companies and ensure a good entertainment and good mood at family celebrations. We will let you swing the paintbrush at the painting course, reserve the Fotostudio for your personal shoot, send it with GPS on tour, take a raft trip or explore the canoe’s original water landscapes.
