In the middle of the village and yet secluded – a lovingly and carefully furnished thatched cottage dating back to 1785 in a dreamy garden with many flowers, old apple trees and a large lush green lawn.

Inside, in our cozy and homely house offers charm and comfort, simultaneously summery freshness and lightness. Modernity and practicality combine with tradition and with the area: in addition to what we consider a day to meet today’s demands of functionality for granted, there are antique furniture: cabinets from the Biedermeier (1835), a chest from the time of the Revolution (1871), a showcase with clawfoot, probably from the turn of the century, with dishes from 1880th Individual pieces and quaint curiosities from several eras round out the picture. Typical of such an old house, the part with only 2m height relatively low ceiling. Particularly striking are the mostly low clearance heights of doors. It is said that this is due to a design specification of the Danish king, who demanded that the indomitable Friesen should bow before him.
The house is best suited for up to 4 people with its 2 bedrooms. One bedroom sleeps in a built-in double bed that looks like a four-poster bed. The double bed in the other bedroom consists of two single beds arranged to the double bed. Guests can also use the existing in-house travel cot.
Who would not spend the night in one of the bedrooms, may instead sleeping on / in the cozy day bed in an alcove in the living room and wake you up there by the morning sun and perhaps go the first morning by the own exit to the garden outside. Who is first monitored, can bring the buns in just 300m away in the village shop.
This makes it comfortable even on cool days, we have an open fireplace in the living room and a stove in the dining room. In addition, the house has electric heaters. Who wants to can with an aroma cabin sauna spoil (blank) and then cool off with a rainforest shower or in the bathtub.
Who likes it more active, who runs or cycles (bicycles for free use available) to the 700 m distant outdoor pool or makes a trip to the Langenberger Forst: for hiking, learning on the forest nature trail, to observe nature, or to the historical exploration of the Hünengrabes (megalithic grave) “Rantzauhöhe”, which is the highest elevation of North Frisia at 44m above sea level, the historic Ox Route, or the former Petersburg.

More restaurants can be found just 8 km from the rural lower central leak, which is also easily accessible by bicycle. There are also shops of all kinds, service and craft businesses, medical, specialist and dental practices and pharmacies. Highly recommended is also the country inn “Achtruper Stuben” in Achtrup, which also has real qualities Restaurant.
