The Tuniberg hill rises up some 100 meters, in between the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains. This hilly area at Freiburg’s front door (approx. 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bus) boasts beautiful, sloping vineyards, bejeweled with roses amidst picturesque villages. Tuniberg is a good base for day trips to Switzerland, Colmar, and the Black Forest. We offer a 2-room, 64-square-meter vacation apartment. The large living room has a comfortable seating area and TV. The apartment includes a dining area for breakfast and coffee breaks, with lovely decor details that create an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The comfortable beds in the bedroom are a real treat for late risers. An ample closet offers enough space for your entire holiday wardrobe. Our vacation apartment is equipped with a fully functionally kitchen. Come visit us and enjoy a vacation in Germany’s warmest climate. For families: All children ages 0-5 stay free of charge with us! A 100-square-meter Rewe grocery store is open until 10:00 p.m. The bakery has fresh “Brötchen” rolls on Sunday until 11:00 a.m. The Tuniberg offers pleasant walks or a hike to the “Strausse” wine tavern in Opfingen Christal. The nearest airport, Basel-Müllhaus, is only 60 km away. Freiburg’s downtown is 13 km away, reachable by bus in 30 minutes. Possible to barbecue in the garden.
The 64-square-meter two-room, non-smoking vacation apartment consists of a living room and bedroom (double bed (2 x 2 meters) and a bunk bed with beds for two). The living room is equipped with a sleeper couch, satellite TV, an Internet connection, a small dining area, and outdoor terrace. Fully functional kitchen with oven, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine, bathroom with toilet, shower, and bathtub. Pets: An EUR 8.00 fee will be charged for each dog per day.
