This spacious wooden house, which was renovated in 2015 and welcomes guests with newly designed rooms. The detached holiday home is located in the district of Waltersdorf, above the spa town Rathen. Waltersdorf is located on the plateau between Lilienstein and Polenztal and embeds itself in the green of the forests, which extend up close to the place. An ideal starting point for biking and hiking in the Saxon Switzerland National Park.
The house has a total floor space of 212 m² and offers two floors accommodate eleven people. Wooden floors and wood-paneled walls create a cozy and homely atmosphere. As there are no carpets, the house for allergy sufferers is ideally suited. All rooms are also environmentally friendly heating with a pellet. On the ground floor there is a cozy living room with fireplace, Sat.-TV, Home entertainment, CD, DVD, Blu-ray player and an iPod / iPhone docking station. The open, new kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, oven, raclette, fondue sets (Chinoise, cheese), Coffeemaker (whole beans), toaster and kettle set. Adjoining the kitchen right next to the dining area for twelve people. On the other side of the hallway is one of the four bedrooms. It has a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a dressing room, to which a small spa area consisting of a sauna joins (surcharge), shower, relaxation area with deck chairs and sink and a toilet. About the staircase leads upstairs where there are first a hall and a gallery with a seating area. The remaining three bedrooms and a shower room with toilet are here on the upper floor. There are two large bedrooms, with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a double bed (180 x 200 cm) are equipped and a sofa bed for two people. The small bedroom is the kids that has a bunk bed with three beds (above 80 x 200 cm, bottom 140 x 200 cm mattress base).
From the large, wraparound terrace with barbecue and seating will be determined enthusiastic. Here, everyone finds their favorite place to relax, sunbathe or read. Even the little guests are considered. Near the house there is a game Island for you. There are three parking spaces available. The property is completely fenced. Pets are allowed only on request.
For additional booking of two-person apartment, located in the basement of the house, the cottage for sole use available. In the house a complete Toddlers equipment like cots (no bedding and washing), high chair, toilet facilities, swings and children’s play area is available. It is a Non smoking, smoking on the terrace is however allowed. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available for free. Mountain bikes can be rented.
Around the village there are numerous hiking trails that reward even the short walk with panoramic views of the surrounding rocks and mountains. The immediate vicinity of Rathen (two km), the bastion and Rathen are a special plus. The huge, undeveloped hiking region between Pirna and the Bohemian Switzerland offers a direct entry into the Saxon Switzerland Nature Reserve. Active guests will appreciate the extensive network of cycle and mountain bike network. Both Pirna and Dresden are reachable by public transport (bus, boat, train). Bad Schandau Rathen and offer fine dining. The Tuscany spa awaits you even in bad weather in just six kilometers away. There were shopping possibilities in Bad Schandau.
