With a length of 10 km, it is the largest lake in Brandenburg and is hence also known as Märkisches Sea. Enjoy discovering Scharmützelsee on your own by renting pedal boats, rowing, sailing, or hiring motorboats. Take a tour in one of the passenger ships. On the lake side you will find a surfing and sailing school which offers bicycle and boat on rent (The sailing school offers all these facilities). The renowned spa town of Bad Saarow Pieskow is only around 10 km. The Saarow Therme is popular. ‘Health through Water’ is the motto here. In addition to the indoor pool and an outdoor heated pool, the Saarow Therme offers a variety of facilities using water such as hot tub, saltwater pool.
