Our Almhaus is very cozy and for max. 10 pers. equipped. Well-being is a top priority for us. We have 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are furnished with double beds and the fourth has 2 bunk beds, which are very often used by the children.
The kitchen is equipped with all that 10 people need to cook. Microwave, electric stove with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher etc. On the upper living area there are 2 bedrooms and a spacious gallery, on which there is a sofa to chill out. Up here is also a sauna and a shower. From the gallery, you have a beautiful view into the spacious living / dining room. Here is a very large dining table with corner bench, there is room for at least 12 people on the sufficient. A large wood-burning stove provides warmth. The stove heats the whole house, but the rooms also have a booster heater. Another bathroom with shower and a G-WC is on the lower level. In the entrance a hallway here we still have to keep a farther refrigerator to the Eikauf fresh. Directly at the house of the ski is cultivated. Since you can leave your skis and shoes drying on the shoe heating and are kept cozy and warm. Here is also a freezer so that you do not often need to go shopping in the village.
The Falkertsee with its excellent skiing and hiking area is considered by many travelers as an insider tip in Austria. Especially families with kids enjoy a special attention here. The ski school has lots of attractions for the little ones ready and care is all around fantastic. Falkert is the ideal starting point for many leisure activities for families and individuals. In the vicinity of our house you can ski, golf, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, sailing, paragliding, river rafting, hunting and businesses much more. But let even just unwind and relax doing really well here.
We are happy to arrange guided ski tours, deep snow courses, hiking tours and golf events for groups up to 8 people.
Our house is ideal for smaller ski hiking and golf groups, or for families who together want to share a house. Next to the house rushes a romantic mountain stream and in the house you can spend pleasant evenings at the big table in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. Here we have spent many pleasant evenings with friends and acquaintances with board games and even heated discussions. Who does not want to, can retreat to the gallery and just chill out or watch TV. In summer, this is about 400m² large plot by the stream is an ideal place for grilling and relaxing. 2 balconies, which are oriented to the south, offer space for sunbathing. Garden furniture and barbecue are plentiful.
A very particular advantage of Falkert, is the central location. The ski resort is within walking distance, the Golfpaltz of Bad Klei Kirchheim is erreichtt in 7 minutes. Some of the most beautiful mountain lakes of Austria are not removed more than 30 Km. The Millstätter lake Wörthersee and Ossiacher See, incidentally, all at great Golplätzen nearby, are reached in about half an hour. After Klagenfurt and Villach there are no 50 Km. Even a trip to Slovenia and the Karawanken or the Adriatic Sea is worth, because you no longer than 2 hours on the road are.
