Property Description
The Fitnessalm is located in the middle of the National Park Nockberge directly on the beautiful Falkertsee at 1875 meters. Directly behind the lake, the mighty Falkert (2308m) opens up. At Falkert there is a great via ferrata level 3-4 (difficult) which can be reached in about 25 minutes hiking. The lake is frozen in winter and invites you to skit and a cross-country ski run is not far from the house. In summer you can fish, paddle or swim (cold) in the Falkertsee.
The area is considered a hiking paradise and in winter as Eldorado for snow climbing or hiking. An illuminated toboggan run runs past the house. You can ski on one of four ski slopes, which can be reached in a maximum of 10 minutes on foot. There is also a children’s ski school in winter and in summer a large children’s program for guests (hiking, climbing, crafts, scouts, etc.). For ambitious skiers, the trip to the Turracher Höhe is worth about 20-25 minutes or Bad Kleinkirchheim about 15 -20 minutes away.
In the summer the cows look over the fence to the house and the nature and the national park invite to become active. In winter you can relax in the Almstüberl by the fireplace.
