Only 200m to the forest is our holiday home on a hillside, in a quiet residential area with no through traffic. The hillside location allows a beautiful view of the Harz landscape.
Couples and families live comfortably and comfortably in our large, sunny apartment or in one of our 3 small apartments for 2-3 persons (please inquire). The equipment of the residential units, the large garden and the laundry and drying room in the basement offer our guests many amenities for short or long-term stays.
Each unit has a parking space on the front door on its own property.
Only 2 steps lead through the front door into the sleek, bright apartment which offers enough space for 4-5 people: living room with HD cable TV, DVD, stereo CD player, books, board games for children and adults; Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, freezer (about 30 liters), Senseo and coffee machine and extensive cooking and kitchen utensils;

Terrace in the summer with garden furniture (table, 6 chairs u. Parasol). From the living room and from the terrace you have a beautiful view of the hilly resin landscape. From the terrace the path leads downhill into the garden to the playground equipment.
The 600m ² garden with swing, slide, seesaw and sandbox, log cabin with garden furniture, barbecue and toys (in winter there are sledges) is a meeting place for all guests of the house. Children and adults can sit, clink, grill or play together.
For hiking, the car can stop in front of the door. There are only 200m in the forest which identifies interesting destinations around Bad Grund. Walk directly from the house to the 600m distant Wassertretbecken or the World Forest with tree plantations from Asia, North and South America (sequoias, cedars, cypresses) and on the integrated about 2 km long Indian adventure trail, with z. B .: Tippis, high stand and suspension bridge – an experience for children and adults; or via the horizontal path (König-Hübich-Route) to the limestone cliff ‘Hübichenstein’, the stalactite cave, to the Märchental or to the center of the valley with shops and museums.
Leisure activities in town: mini golf, bowling, brine bath, fitness center, clock museum, mining museum.
The idyllic Taubenborner pond below our house invites in summer for fishing and in winter for ice skating. There is also a children’s playground with a carousel, climbing wall and goal wall.
