The property includes a second house, but both homes are separated by an extensive meadow for playing or sunbathing and offer plenty of privacy. The location at the edge of the forest makes it easy to leave the everyday hustle and bustle behind. The house is suitable for two adults and two children. For example: Four adults at the dining table is a tight fit. Visitors can go hiking in the beautiful region or regenerate in the nearby town Bad Elster. The neighbouring Czech Republic is always worth the travel, which can also be reached conveniently by train, with the ‘Länderbahn’ (formerly ‘Vogtlandbahn’). In the winter you’ll be pleased that the ski lift and slopes are only 8 km away. Excursions into the surrounding region: The Göltzsch Viaduct (railway bridge), amusement park Plohn, Pöhl reservoir, Drachenhöhle Syrau (stalactite cave), the Osterburg (castle/museum) in Weida.
