Property Description
Surrounded by large forests of the holiday country Waldeck found at Bad Arolsen the Twistesee, one of the cleanest lakes in Germany. It is located approximately 40 km west of Kassel between Bad Arolsen in the West, Volkmarsen in the Northeast and Wolf Hagen in the east.
The park is located above the Twiste, a recreational paradise for families in summer and winter. The walk to the lake is about 5 minutes.
You spend your holidays in your own cottage in the woods with a covered patio and lawn. The house is equipped for 6 people. The ground floor has a living room with dining area and kitchen (fridge, electric stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster), bedroom with double bed and bathroom. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds. There are TV (satellite system) in the living room and lower bedroom, internet, terrace furniture, barbecue, cot and high chair at your disposal.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are not supplied.
Tourist:
Around the main part of Twiste results of a 7 km long trail, which is paved or graveled. Numerous trails invite in the woods for walking and jogging. Water skiing athletes is an installed in the reservoir water skiing facilities are available. It is possible to cruise the lake with hose, paddle boats and pedal boats. On the shore a lido was created, which you can use for free. On the eastern shore there is a large lawn, a nudist area and a roped off area for ship model boats. On the slopes, which follow on the west bank, there is a nine-hole golf course. There also the holiday park Twistesee lies with mini golf, playground, tennis court and volleyball court. If the weather is not so nice, visit the adventure bath Arobella in Bad Arolsen (about 3 km).
Restaurants are located in the park (about 300 m) and in Wetterburg (about 1 km).
