Property Description
We offer a fully equipped small apartment (26 sqm) with private ground floor access in the basement of our house. The apartment is modern and bright with a view to the garden. The location is rural, so a lot of nature awaits you around us.
The apartment is suitable for 3 persons, with a fully equipped kitchenette with stove, oven, fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet and urinal.
There are free towels and linen.
You can use the garden and the shared terrace (with barbecue).
Usually there is always someone in the yard. We value the balance of contact and privacy with our guests.
First of all, we live on a former farm, which is located in the outskirts. Accordingly, when you leave our apartment, you are immediately in nature. If you want to do something other than going for a walk, you will need a bike or car (from Mo-Sa there are buses every hour from the very near bus stop). Within a radius of 500m there is a riding school with courses for children as well as a private fishing pond, where even without a fishing license the rod may be thrown. Furthermore, there is a small supermarket with the most important things and a pub (no food). A playground is located directly at the nearby village community center. In the neighborhood there is the possibility to book wellness massages (“DSD competence center” in the social network of Mark Zuckerberg). In the next town (Aerzen = 6km) you will find everything you need to live: doctor, pharmacy, large supermarket, gas station, bakery, indoor and outdoor pool, etc. There is also an 18-hole golf course nearby. The next small airfield is about 12km away. In Hamelin, the city of the world-famous Pied Piper, there are museums, cinema, marina, theater, bowling and nightlife. As a recreational opportunities in the area there is a climbing park, a Draisinenstrecke, a spa, a summer toboggan run, an animal park, an adventure farm with Fairtrade farm shop, natural monuments (Externsteine) and beautiful hiking trails. By bike you can reach in half an hour the famous Weser cycle path.
The best way to get there is by car, but there is also a bus stop in front of the house, from where you get every hour to Hamelin and from there by S-Bahn to Hannover / airport.
We are happy to provide you breakfast eggs from our own free-range chickens. Coffee and tea for self-cooking are available. If you are an experienced rider, you may want to go on an accompanied ride. All others have the opportunity to do a guided donkey hike. Of course, there is satellite television with large LED TV and free Wi-Fi internet with sufficient bandwidth.
