Spend an afternoon meeting, handling and learning about some of nature’s most awe-inspiring predators at Eagle Heights in the beautiful Kent countryside on this Introduction to Eagle Handling experience.
The art of handling birds of prey has been part of human history for almost 4000 years, so when you’ve got an eagle on your arm you’ll be experiencing something felt by our ancient ancestors, through to medieval knights and present-day experts. On this experience you’ll get to handle four different species from Eagle Heights’ collection, and though it depends which birds are feeling best on the day you’ll get to meet species such as the Bataleur, Steppe and maybe even the Steller’s Sea Eagle – one of the biggest eagles in the world!
Make sure you bring along a camera to capture these amazing birds in action, as their grace and beauty up close is sure to be something you want to remember for a lifetime. This experience also includes entry to the rest of Eagle Heights Wildlife Park so you can explore and see the other animals that live in the sanctuary in addition to the 50 different species of birds of prey that live there. Learn something new this year and handle some fearsome hunters in the West Kent countryside.
