The sport of land yachting has been around for hundreds of years, starting off as entertainment for the nobility before becoming the sleek and exciting sport that it is today. These modern land yachts are capable of speeds in excess of 40 mph, so expect a rush of adrenaline as you shoot down the sandy Greatstone beach just a few inches off the ground driven forward by nothing but the wind. You’ll be given expert tuition and training in the correct driving and stopping techniques on a specially-designed course before heading out onto the open plains to discover what your land yacht can do, so you’ll finish the day confident in your new sporting skills.
You’ll be sharing your land yacht between the two of you, but you’ll each have plenty of time in the driving seat to make the most of your time out on the beach. This is probably the fastest you’ll ever move without an engine beneath your feet, making for an exciting thrill ride you’re unlikely to forget in a hurry!
