Paradise Wildlife Park is home to an amazing family of tapirs. Native to Brazil, these prehistoric looking creatures have lived on the earth for 35 million years. They are related to the horse and rhinoceros, but look like neither. They are friendly, inquisitive and absolutely love to be tickled. These lovely little creatures will be more than happy to take the food from your hands …once they have finished playing in their pool.
You’ll be accompanied by one of the park’s knowledgeable staff members who will answer any questions you may have and guide you through your encounter. You are welcome to spend the rest of your day discovering all the other wonderful things to see and do at Paradise Wildlife Park.
