Discover a selection of London’s oldest pubs, some dating back to early 1600s, with the Drink London! Historical Pub Tour. The tour will take you on a walk through a piece of London’s history as you visit the city’s most famous pubs and alehouses. Follow in the footsteps of Shakespeare and Dickens, pausing for a drink in at least four historic taverns along the way; these may range from old coaching inns to Victorian gin palaces and you’ll have the chance to hunt out some real ale.
You will be part of a small group and along your tour you will stop at each pub with the option to purchase drinks at your own expense. The tour lasts 3 hours and takes you from St Paul’s Underground station to the edge of Covent Garden, if you wish to continue your London experience in the lively West End, or you can get yourself some pub grub in a haunted 500 year old establishment.
