Property Description
S79974 is a one bedroomed apartment set over two floors, located in the annexe of the owner's bed and breakfast. Tucked away and completely separate, yet with access to the facilities of the B&B, this is a perfect base for exploring the North Yorkshire countryside. Osmotherley is the archetypal North York Moors village. It stands at about 200m elevation on the western edge of the North York Moors National Park, with wide views across to the Yorkshire Dales. The village developed in the 1800s as an overnight stop on the north-south drove road, and this location is responsible for its present popularity as a walking and outdoor centre. It is the start (or finish) of the famous Lykewake Walk, which is extremely popular with outdoor enthusiasts who are spoilt for choice of walking routes in this beautiful part of the world. From cross moor hikes to a leisurely stroll around the nearby lake and sheep wash, there is something for all abilities. It is also a bikers paradise, with routes out across the moors in all directions, including the White Rose cycle route.
