Take a boat trip and spot seals on the sandbanks, or cycle the Viking Coastal Trail, one of the most attractive leisure cycle routes in Kent, covering 27 miles. A short drive will take you to Broadstairs, home to Viking Bay with several fantastic walks, or visit Ramsgate Royal Harbour. Broadstairs Folk Week takes place on the first weekend in August every year and it is only a 20-minute bus ride from the property.
