Grizedale Forest Dalton Animal Park, 4 miles, makes an excellent day out, with a variety of wild animals from around the world. Lake Windermere and many historic houses and gardens easily accessible for days out. If relaxation is your preferred activity why not just sit on the terrace and enjoy the wonderful views. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.75 miles.
