Offa's Dyke is close by and the Heart of Wales Railway is a must as it meanders from Swansea in the south and Shrewsbury in the north, taking in 120 miles of glorious and varying countryside. There is fishing on the River Lugg and golf nearby, as well as many trails to explore in Radnor Forest. Ludlow has some remarkable eating places or visit Hereford or Hay-on-Wye. Visit Hergest Croft Gardens, Berrington Hall, Ludlow Castle or Dunkerton's Cider Musuem, or follow the cycle trails through the renowned black and white villages.
