The front door opens into a cosy sitting room with woodburner stove, a small round dining table is positioned by the front window so you can sit and enjoy the views of the river and all the river activity. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the essentials for creating meals for two, a back porch has ample room for boots and coats. Just across from the back door is an 'old outhouse' which now contains the washing machine.
On the first floor is a shower room which has a lovely old wooden floor, there is a hand basin, W.C. and shower. Next door is the king sized double bedroom, which dominates the front of the first floor, character recesses and old fireplace are part of the features, however, your eyes are usually drawn to the stunning view through the window, the light on the river can be entrancing.
To the front of the cottage is a small paved area with table and chairs where you can enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon tea with an estuary view
Parking is in the main car park, it is possible to load and unload luggage at the end of West Street.
This cottage is situated next to Anchor Cottage which may be booked alongside for friends or family if you want your own space but near together.
