Walks can be enjoyed at Rushup Moor, the 10-mile ring of trees around Buxton and in the surrounding Peak District National Park. Cyclists can take advantage of both the Monsal and Tissington trails and for those seeking history and culture, the magnificent historic houses of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth are just 20 minutes away, as is the fascinating plague village of Eyam. The lovely market towns of Ashbourne and Matlock are reachable within 40 minutes and Castleton with its caverns and stunning Hope Valley scenery in just 15 minutes.
