The ground floor has a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen with a breakfast area and a lovely conservatory overlooking the courtyard. Both bedrooms on the first floor have en-suite facilities. There is also a downstairs bathroom which has a bath, shower cubicle and useful shower attachment which reaches outside enabling guests to clean off dirty bikes, boots and dogs!
If you can tear yourself away from this detached holiday cottage, then you can be at the gateway to the stunning North Norfolk Coast in 25 minutes. Head east and enjoy a string of pretty coastal towns and villages with beaches, marshes and quaysides. A day trip to Hunstanton is a must, with its beach, Sea Life Sanctuary, small fairground, amusements and numerous shops and restaurants. Travel on further and visit bracing Brancaster and Wells-next-the-Sea with its picturesque quay and lots of places to eat and shop. Birdwatchers will be spoilt for choice with rspb Titchwell Marsh being one of the many sites for viewing wildlife. History lovers should find time to explore the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn, the medieval city of Norwich with its striking Norman castle, the small city of Ely where its cathedral rises up on the horizon as 'Ship of the Fens', and numerous National Trust properties including The Sandringham Estate, Peckover House and Holkham Hall. However you like to spend your holiday, you will be spoilt for choice at Cherry Tree Cottage. After returning from a busy day sightseeing, relax by the wood burner, in front of the large TV or in the hot tub and plan your next adventure. Beach 13 miles. Shop and restaurant 200 yards, pub ½ mile.
