For an interesting day out, take a trip to Tenby and indulge in one of the numerous cafés, gift shops or many restaurants tucked away in its historic walls, or wander down to the sandy haven of the award-winning harbour beach, with its sheltered bay, golden sands and crystal blue waters. A trip to the resort would not be complete without taking a boat ride across to the off-shore island of Caldey, home to its Celtic monastery and Cistercian monks who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years.
