Property Description
This stunning little wing of the owner's home is beautifully presented and decorated and with views of the sea from the garden what more could you ask for? It's just a stones' throw from one of the loveliest coastal villages in the area, Portpatrick, with its charming fishing harbour. From the comfort of your holiday cottage to the delights of the village there is just about no need to explore further. However this delightful area, known as The Rhins of Galloway is too tempting. Take a scenic walk along the Southern Upland Way, a coast to coast pathway. Or why not stroll through the village and lunch out in one of the many excellent restaurants which overlook the beautiful harbour? S60852 is ideally placed for easy access to many of the attractions that 'The Rhins' has to offer. Visit the beautiful display of flowers at Logan Botanic Gardens or explore the Galloway Forest with its exceptional walking and cycling; the world famous 7Stanes cycle trail runs through it. The forest is also a designated Dark Sky Park. If golf is for you there is an excellent course in the village and further afield is the Wigtownshire County Golf Club, an 18 hole true links course, which is situated on the shores of Luce Bay.
