A visit to nearby Plodda Falls is also highly recommended. Slightly further afield you can visit Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Divach Falls and the Highland capital of Inverness. Further to the east you can visit Culloden Battlefield and its visitor centre and Fort George, both of which offer good visitor experiences. Within a day you can also explore the west coast of Scotland and the Isle of Skye, or travel south to Fort William.
