The picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, known as the Gateway to Snowdonia, is just 6 miles where there is a range of individual shops and Zip World Fforest treetop nets. The renowned Marin Bike Trail is a 5-mile ride away. The pretty market town of Llanrwst is worth a visit to see the bridge across the River Conwy which dates from 1636, along with the adjacent and much photographed Tu Hwnt I'r Bont tea room. Just 5 minutes' drive north lies Surf Snowdonia the first artificial surfing lagoon in the world. If surfing's not your thing, you can grab a coffee and marvel at the surfing action! Further north is the National Trust's Bodnant Garden, historic Conwy with its Edward I castle and town walls, and the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno and the Great Orme. Beach 15 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
