Families will love the Zipworld Fforest tree top nets, or you can venture to Blaenau Ffestiniog, home of the largest zip wire zone in the world, and the famous Ffestiniog Railway. In the other direction, just beyond the market town of Llanrwst, is Surf Snowdonia, the world's first artificial surfing lagoon worth popping in for a coffee to watch the surfing action! Further afield is historic Conwy with its majestic Edward I castle (a unesco World Heritage Site), and the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno offering the Great Orme and a whole host of family activities, from tramway and cable car rides, to the wonderful Venue Cymru theatre. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub 2 miles.
