With two bathrooms, this is the perfect place to choose for two couples to stay. In the centre of The Brecon Beacons National Park and within very easy reach of Brecon town this is a great location for visitors wishing to explore the area. Ample space for parking, storage of mountain bikes or canoes in the large courtyard and barns. The remains of the Roman Y Gaer meaning The Fort is just down the valley to the cottage and is an easy walk and certainly worth exploring. You will be spoilt for choice with some of the excellent restaurants in the wider Brecon area and the many local pubs offering food.
Cottage Accommodation :
Sleeps 4 – 2 Doubles
There is a pretty country style kitchen with attractive stone floor, antique pine settle, dining table and chairs, a beautiful old Welsh dresser, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and a separate freezer. Washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The sitting room is light and spacious with a lovely oak floor with rugs, three large comfortable soft leather sofas – one of which can be used as a sofa bed. A woodburning stove with wood supplied. Large TV with free sat. French doors lead out to the garden.
There is a family bathroom: With a bath with a shower over, handbasin and toilet.
Bedroom 1 – Double bed
There is an enclosed garden with a lawn and a sunny south-facing patio area with a table and chairs and a BBQ.

Location
The cottage is set in the corner of a large courtyard of the owners house with glorious views over the rolling countryside about 4 miles from Brecon near The River Usk. The cottage is in the middle of spectacular countryside with excellent mountain walking and cycle trails. There is Trout and Salmon Fishing on The River Usk – contact Usk & Wye Foundation for fishing information and availability. There is a 4 acre field that belongs to the owner where visitors could bring their horses and there is also a Menage (on discussion with the owner).
