It is within a 10-minute walk of the local railway station with services to Bournemouth, Southampton and London Waterloo.

This contemporary style accommodation has a superb light and airy open plan family room/kitchen/diner which features a kitchen island. You can relax and unwind in comfort with a wall mounted 43 TV with Sky Q home entertainment package. The local area is home to ponies, donkeys and cattle all of which are known to roam the main street in Brockenhurst. There is a pretty picnic and shallow water swimming spot on the river at Balmer Lawn. For those keen on walking and cycling (there is a cycle hire shop locally), it is ideally situated, being surrounded by ancient woods and heathland, yet offering an array of shops in the village. There are cafes, tea houses, friendly pubs and restaurants serving great food as well as Italian, Thai and Chinese restaurants within easy walking distance, and a good fish and chip shop nearby too. Locally there is a hotel with luxury spa, horse riding and golf just a short drive away. You can even explore the New Forest on a double decker bus for a birds-eye view of this national park. The county of Hampshire itself was enjoyed by Jane Austen, with her house and museum in Chawton and her resting place in Winchester Cathedral. Further afield, but well worth a visit, is Monkey World and the Tank Museum near Wool, Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World, The Owl and Otter Park and nautical maritime museum at Southampton. Retail shopping outlets at Southampton are within easy reach.
