There are boat trips from April to September from the harbour to the Isle of May, the world renowned National Nature Reserve, famous for puffins and seals. There are coastal walks to discover award-winning sandy beaches and coves, picturesque fishing villages on the Fife Coastal Route towards Crail and St Andrews in one direction, and Pitenweem, St Monans and Elie in the other direction, and a regular coastal bus service to return home. Just a short drive along the coast is St Andrews with historic buildings, an excellent selection of restaurants, cafés and shops, and of course its championship golf courses. Beach 600 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
