Only 2 miles away is the historic village of Warkworth with its hillside castle, pubs, bespoke shops and pretty riverside for walks. Locals love to walk from Amble to Warkworth and admire the river view and castle on the way. A few miles further along is the ducal town of Alnwick with its famous castle featured in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. The Duchess' water gardens with spectacular grand cascade, and the world's largest treehouse restaurant, should not be missed. Amble is situated on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage coastline, with some of the most unspoilt beaches and picturesque coastline in England, with plenty of foot and cycle paths to enjoy. Amble is a great location for exploring the whole of this unspoilt county, with all the amenities you need on your doorstep, or leave your car behind and have an evening out at one of the local eateries.
