Nestled on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park, this property has great walks from the front door, with plenty of other activities nearby, including golf, fishing (salmon and trout), mountain biking, walking, climbing, bird watching, sailing and wildlife watching. Alford has many amenities including a swimming pool, library and sports centre. There are also pubs, shops, restaurants and craft shops.
Skirted by the beautiful River Don and surrounded by the hills of Bennachie and Coreen, the area is a great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Alford boasts two museums, a narrow gauge railway and a huge country park area, which are great for family days out. There are also many walks to enjoy, with a historic battlefield and a golf course along the way.
