This cosy detached stone holiday cottage is situated in the National Park just a short drive from Newport Pembrokeshire and the silver sands of Traeth Mawr beach.
The cottage is surrounded by well-kept gardens, a small stream, and an abundance of wildlife, birds, insects and plants and a 'National Collection' of Ilex (hollies) as featured on Gardeners Question Time.
There are lovely walks through the 50 acres of newly planted woodland and on the country lanes.
The Gwaun Valley and the Preseli Hills are also close by and along with the 186 miles of Coastal National Park there is huge potential for ramblers and keen walkers.
Enter into the cottage kitchen and dining room which is furnished with a range of fitted pine units, electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave oven and a fridge/freezer.
An automatic washing machine is available.
The dining area is furnished with a pine dining table and 4 chairs.
The cosy sitting room has an inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, stone floors with rug and is furnished with comfortable seating for 4, satellite TV with DVD player, items of occasional furniture and French doors leading to the open garden.
A hallway leads from the dining area to the bedroom which has double bed, bedside tables with lamps and bedroom furniture.
The bathroom is adjacent and has a suite of bath, WC and wash hand basin.
The beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Garden and Parking
Well-kept gardens surround the cottage and there is a huge dragon sculpture in the conservation land where you can sit and enjoy an al-fresco meal with views of Carn Ingli (Mount of Angels). There are lovely walks through the 50 acres of woodland.
Ample parking for up to 2 cars beside the property.
Other Information
There is full gas central heating throughout the property. Electricity and gas charges are included in the summer months and charged at a rate of £35 per week from October to April inclusive. Payable when booking.
A cot and highchair are available upon request.
No smoking in the cottage.
Towels are NOT available to hire at this property.
WiFi is not yet installed in the cottage – but is available in the yard area.
One well-behaved pet is welcome, but must be kept on a leash when outside as sheep graze the hillside pastures. Pets must not be left alone in the property.
