Property Description

0Location Just a short distance from the sleepy village of Sherford, and a mile or so from Frogmore with its popular shop/bakery, pub and tidal creek (leading to the Kingsbridge/Salcombe Estuary). Stokeley Farm shop, deli and café/restaurant are two miles or so away whilst the village of Torcross with its intriguing history and unspoiled shingle beach and Slapton Ley nature reserve are within a 7-10 minute drive.

ENTRANCE Stone steps lead up to a large oak farmhouse entrance, and through to a shared internal hallway. The accommodation is accessed immediately on the left-hand side of the hallway.

KITCHEN /DINING ROOM The entrance opens into a newly refurbished kitchen area with Rayburn Royal Range cooker, two ring hob and electric oven, fridge (with freezer compartment), washer/dryer and microwave. There is lovely slate flooring throughout and an oak bench seat under the window. The dining area has a large table seating six comfortably, with stairs leading up to a CLOAKROOM at the half-level with w.c. and basin, and on further to the bedrooms at bathrooms on the first floor.

SITTING ROOM The sitting room has fully restored oak panelling lining the four walls, stripped back wooden flooring throughout, and wood-burning stove. It is comfortably furnished with two Chesterfield sofas, and features a widescreen TV with Sky Q box.

BEDROOMS Three, all at first floor level. A very good sized en suite double bedroom has attractive wooden floor boards, Wooden framed bed, bedside tables, drawers, wardrobe, and two chairs. The fully tiled and refurbished en suite shower room (2017) has an electric shower, wash-hand basin, w.c. and heated towel rail. There is a further double room with bed, bedside unit, dressing table and wardrobe, and a twin room with two single beds, drawers and wardrobe. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding beach towels) are supplied.

BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a newly refurbished and fully tiled family bathroom with freestanding slipper bath and hand-held shower, separate shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, w.c. and heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE To the front of the accommodation is a small open terrace with garden table and chairs.

PARKING In front of the farmhouse for at least two cars.

OTHER INFORMATION Wireless broadband internet available. Strictly no smoking but up to two well-behaved dogs are permitted. Please be aware that the accommodation is located on a working farm.
