Weekly markets are held at the Barnstaple Pannier Market, whilst Ilfracombe offers family attractions such as Tunnels Beaches, Landmark Theatre and boat trips to Lundy Island. The magnificent golden coastal beaches of Saunton, Putsborough, Woolacombe and Croyde are within easy driving distance, as are many local National Trust properties.
