Take a step back in time as you enjoy this large quirky terraced holiday house which overlooks Cardigan Bay's Borth beach and has sea views from many of the rooms.

The owners have used the 1920's/40's as the theme for their careful renovation and incorporated many items of historical interest whilst providing the modern comforts we all know and love.

Borth beach is on the Cardigan Bay coast between the Dyfi estuary and the town of Aberystwyth stretching almost three miles to Ynyslas, it is excellent for swimming and surfing. The town has several cafes, pubs and small shops.

Ground Floor

Entrance up a few external steps into the hallway and through to the kitchen which has an open fire, modern infra-red cooker, freestanding dressers and fitted 50's deco style kitchen units with fridge, freezer, microwave and 2 small seats.

The dining area leads off the kitchen and has an old farmhouse table with 4 chairs (with two more available from an adjacent room). There is a woodburning stove.

sitting area, this has a double aspect and overlooks the boat deck and beach, it is furnished with comfy seating, occasional furniture and large modern TV and a DVD player .

A door leads to the utility area with washing machine and dishwasher.

The unusual sitting room has a musical theme with an old gramophone; trumpet light, 1930's harmonium (in working order), Modern Flat screen television and a two piece suite.

There is a ground floor shower room with old fashioned sink, high flush WC and a shower cubicle. A scrubbed wooden staircase leads to the bathroom, bedrooms and the second sitting room.

On the first half landing is the family bathroom which has a suite of original roll top freestanding bath, WC and wash hand basin.

First Floor

The second sitting room has a sea view and is furnished with a woodburning stove three piece suite, occasional furniture, books, games, a radio, TV and DVD.

The master bedroom very spacious and has a large bedstead, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers a vintage ornamental pram and various interesting historical items.

Second Floor

On the second floor there are three bedrooms. There are two doubles (1 with a sea view) and one bedroom with a single bed. All beds are made up with fresh linen and duvets.

Third Floor

There is a third floor with 3 very basic attic rooms. This is not generally available to guests. All rooms have period furnishings. If you don't like quirkiness and a bit of the old style, please don't book this property.

Garden and Parking

There is a wonderful patio area overlooking the beach and sea at the back of the property with a “bow of the boat” decked area containing a table and seating for 8. A gate leads directly from the patio area to the beach.

Parking is available on the roadside – not reserved.

Other Information

There are two log burning stoves and an open fire as well as numerous heaters throughout the property. Logs are available in the village. Electricity is included from May to September and charged for by meter reading at all other times – please leave your payment at the property at the end of your holiday.

A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.

Towels are available to hire at £5.

Up to 2 pets are welcome.
