From the lounge, in sunny weather, open the patio doors and enjoy the lawned area where you can relax, have a picnic or play a game. To the side of the cottage is a patio area with table and chairs. In chilly weather snuggle up in the lounge, add some wood to the log burner and partake in a warming hot chocolate. Pull on some wellingtons for a walk and with a short hop and skip across two fields and you will find yourself directly on a stretch of the world famous Chesil Beach. This stretch of beach is frequented by fishermen and you will often see them sitting under their colourful little tents, it's also a haven for walkers and sun worshippers. A little tea room is within walking distance following the path across the field, ideal for a cup of tea after a hearty walk or just head home to your comfy, compact, cottage sheltered from the elements; kick off your wellies and warm your feet by the log burner. Whispering Pines is charming and full of character. Relax off the beaten track to the sounds of birds rather than sit in traffic; in fact the cottage is accessed via a partially unmade road. Whispering Pines, Mimosa Cottage and The Fossil and The Cross are surrounded by lovely gardens. Whilst each cottage has a distinct and separate area for their use, these gardens are not enclosed and so children should be supervised.
