To the south is Loch Ness and Drumnadrochit, from where you can explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle on the shores of Loch Ness. Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park are within an easy drive, with so many outdoor pursuits and visitor attractions that you will be spoilt for choice. The area offers a plethora of activities including mountain biking, water sports, hill and mountain climbing, horse riding, paint balling and quad biking.
