Holsworthy, 8 miles, has a good selection of local shops and supermarkets along with a weekly market. The market towns of Okehampton and Launceston, with its historic castle, are a short drive away. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all on offer close by and Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature lovers. The property is close to the water sports centre at Roadford Lake, where sailing dinghies, kayaks and wind surfing equipment can be hired. Beach 17 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
