If you're more of a spirits drinker, the Cotswold Distillery is just over 5 miles away where you can go to sample local gin and whisky. Situated between Chipping Norton and Banbury, the cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds; close by are the picturesque market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Morton-in-the-Marsh. Great days out can be had nearby in Oxford, 23 miles; Blenheim Palace, 15 miles; Stratford-Upon-Avon, 22 miles; Warwick Castle, 30 miles, as well as at the many National Trust sites in the surrounding area. If you prefer setting out on foot or by bike to enjoy the countryside, an array of routes are accessible and maps are provided. There are two golf courses within 5 miles.
