Within the village is the National Trust's interpretation centre, Porth y Swnt, which is a great place to learn about the areas rich history, culture and environment and is really useful for getting great ideas for days out during your stay. The Wales Coast Path runs beside S49757, and many beautiful walks start from the village. It is a wonderful location for both traditional family seaside holidays and those seeking a more active break. The lively resort of Pwllheli with its many amenities is just a short drive away and the Snowdonia National Park with its wealth of exhilarating outdoor pursuits and family attractions are also within easy reach.
