There are four bedrooms, two doubles both with beautiful French antique beds, a twin room which can also be made up into a Superking bed, and a lovely children’s room consisting of bunk beds and a single bed. Just outside this room the children can play in the cosy snug with lots of comfy cushions, creating a cool chillout zone. All beds are fitted with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and high quality mattresses, guaranteed for you to have a comfortable stay.
An added bonus of Harbour House is that the rooms are vast and generous. The stunning sitting room has a bay window overlooking the marketplace, perfect for people watching.
After a long day spent exploring Margate and neighbouring seaside towns, sink into one of the plush sofas and rest your feet in front of the roaring coal fire, or relax in the roll top bath tub in the large bathroom.
There’s so much to do in the vibrant and exciting town. Harbour House is located in the Old Town, renowned for the antique and vintage clothes and furniture shops. And wander into the main town and you will find a selection of independent boutiques, art shops and a great choice of eateries and pubs.
A trip to the award winning Turner Contemporary art gallery is a must, and free! And then take in the fresh sea air and stroll down the Harbour Arm, stopping at a quirky cafe for tea and cake. Or enjoy a trip to Dreamland, a fun filled day for all the family.
