This well-appointed, traditional terrace cottage is located in a quiet lane in the heart of Newquay and only a short stroll to the town, beaches and traditional working harbour, where sea fishing and pleasure trips can be taken. Newquay has plenty of local shops and cafés. Fistral Beach, the home to British surfing, is a short stroll away. Here, you can arrange lessons and hire equipment at one of the many surf schools. For those who would rather sit back and watch there are many beachside cafes to choose from where you can enjoy the views. Newquay also has stunning tropical gardens, a Sea Life centre, zoo, links golf course, horse racing, bicycle hire, sea trips for fishing and a leisure centre. It is perfectly surrounded by many tourist attractions for all ages including go karting, Crealy Adventure Park, Dairyland, a Japanese garden and Trerice Manor (National Trust). The whole coastline is dotted with beaches (Newquay has 7, one for each day!) and fishing villages from St Agnes in the south to Padstow in the north with its fine dining and many excellent restaurants, including those of the TV chef Rick Stein. At Watergate Bay, 2 miles from Newquay, you can eat at one of Jamie Oliver's restaurants “Fifteen Cornwall' and then take advantage of the wide beach which is home to the British kite surfing centre with excellent surfing, or enjoy beautiful walks at sunset. Truro, Fowey, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all easily reached from this perfectly positioned cottage. Beach 200 yards. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 40 yards.
