Property Description
These beautiful holiday homes (all except The Orchard, ref UKC2496 which is detached from the complex) are part of The Gallops complex at the Island Riding Centre, a unique horse riding and self-catering holiday destination, located on the beautiful Isle of Wight. They even welcome four legged friends on site too, so that you give your own horse a holiday to remember as well.
Designed around a beautifully landscaped courtyard, The Gallops holiday complex is a pedestrianised quadrangle consisting of seven, eco-friendly, purpose-built holiday home's and on-site staff accommodation. The inner courtyard offers a peaceful relaxing environment away from vehicles, with outside seating areas and sun loungers. All of the properties overlook the central garden and its focal point which is a stunning spherical water feature. All of the seven units can be accessed via a level block paved pathway and have low level thresholds for easy access on foot or by wheelchair. Ample parking is provided in the centres adjacent car park and there is parking provided for disabled guests just a few yards from the accommodation itself. Each of the properties within The Gallops is named after a famous horse, each with a story to tell!
The Island Riding Centre has been designed with a number of eco-friendly measures in mind, these include solar panels, a rainwater harvesting system and a waste treatment plant that purifies and recycles water back into the local water course. Given the sensitivity of the water treatment facility, the centre provides an on-site laundry room with bacteria friendly washing detergent supplied, free of charge.
