Perfect for walkers, cyclists and ramblers too, guests will find an abundance of established public footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways that lead directly from the doorstep of Brandy's Barn and out through the surrounding fields towards and through the Wensleydale Dales and beyond. Walkers will find themselves on a journey through heather covered grouse moors, open countryside, natural woodland and pretty little Yorkshire villages.
Also the ideal destination for exploring the heart of North Yorkshire, guests will find plenty of excellent local attractions that are popular for all year round. Only 3 miles away from the traditional market town of Leyburn, guests will be able to visit the local chocolate museum, tea pottery and Tennants Auction House, as well as enjoying a browse around the weekly local farmers market.
The Forbidden Corner is also a must see and is situated just 4 miles away. This hidden folly offers twists and turns in all directions making it popular for adults as well as children. The Wensleydale Railway stops in Leyburn and will take guests on a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery of the Yorkshire Dales. Castle Bolton, Jervaulx Abbey and Wensleydale Creamery can also be reached within a very short drive and offer different attractions and events for different tastes. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
